About the role
- Supervise and coordinate the client invoicing process for temporary staff, ensuring invoice accuracy and compliance.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to invoicing timeliness and quality.
- Optimize Order-to-Cash (O2C) / Sales Administration (ADV) processes (digitalization, automation, IT system interfaces).
- Act as the interface between operations, commercial and accounting teams to resolve billing disputes.
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure compliance with payment terms.
- Implement and monitor customer credit policies (exposure limits, risk assessment, guarantees).
- Organize and oversee client follow-up/collections (preventive and corrective), in coordination with commercial teams.
- Analyze customer risk and recommend safeguarding actions (credit insurance, legal procedures).
- Produce regular reporting on the aging report, disputes and outstanding balances.
- Lead and develop the billing/collections team.
- Define and formalize internal procedures (controls, compliance, audits).
- Contribute to cross-functional projects related to integration into the Japanese group (process harmonization, SOX compliance).
- Work closely with Payroll, the Finance Department, Accounting and operational teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on invoicing and payment matters.
- Liaise with internal/external auditors and service providers (credit insurers, collection agencies).
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in management, finance or equivalent.
- Proven experience (minimum 5–7 years) in billing, Order-to-Cash (O2C) and/or credit management, ideally in high-volume environments (temporary staffing, services, B2B).
- Strong proficiency with IT tools and ERP systems (preferably group finance & invoicing tools).
- Demonstrated team management experience and proven ability to lead change.
- Professional proficiency in English (communication with the parent company in Japan and interactions with the US).
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
