About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate and treat patients across a wide range of acute conditions, including respiratory illness, minor injuries, and infections
Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
Order and interpret diagnostics including X-rays, EKGs, and labs
Identify higher-acuity cases and appropriately escalate to ER when needed
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups
Lead and directly supervise a team of APPs within the service line
Coach and mentor providers to improve clinical quality and performance
Monitor clinical, operational, and patient satisfaction metrics and drive improvements
Partner with Medical Directors and site leaders on staffing, workflows, and provider utilization
Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of APPs
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
Current PA or NP license in applicable state
National Board Certification
Active DEA registration
Minimum of 12 months of experience in an Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or similar fast-paced clinical setting
Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients
Previous leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience preferred
Experience coaching or mentoring providers strongly preferred
