About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate and treat patients across a wide range of acute conditions, including respiratory illness, minor injuries, and infections
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
  • Order and interpret diagnostics including X-rays, EKGs, and labs
  • Identify higher-acuity cases and appropriately escalate to ER when needed
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups
  • Lead and directly supervise a team of APPs within the service line
  • Coach and mentor providers to improve clinical quality and performance
  • Monitor clinical, operational, and patient satisfaction metrics and drive improvements
  • Partner with Medical Directors and site leaders on staffing, workflows, and provider utilization
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of APPs
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current PA or NP license in applicable state
  • National Board Certification
  • Active DEA registration
  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in an Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or similar fast-paced clinical setting
  • Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience preferred
  • Experience coaching or mentoring providers strongly preferred
