About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver high-quality patient care in state-of-the-art urgent care centers
Treat pediatric and adult patient populations
Perform minor procedures, including sutures, casts and splints
Conduct preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays
Work collaboratively with Rad Techs, Medical Assistants and other healthcare team members
Utilize imaging, laboratory services and an advanced integrated EMR (Epic)
Provide personal, connected patient experiences in partnership with Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting (required)
Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (required)
Comfortable with minor procedures including sutures, casts and splints (required)
Preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays (required)
Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification required
Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and appropriate certification required (AANC or AANP)
