About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver high-quality patient care in state-of-the-art urgent care centers
- Treat pediatric and adult patient populations
- Perform minor procedures including sutures, casts, and splints
- Conduct preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays
- Work in centers equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced integrated EMR
- Collaborate with supportive clinical staff, including Radiologic Technologists and Medical Assistants
- Provide care as part of Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care’s growing network
- Utilize advanced clinical training and pursue professional growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting (required)
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (required)
- Comfort with minor procedures including sutures, casts, and splints (required)
- Preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays (required)
- Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification required
- Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and appropriate certification required (AANC or AANP)
