About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the first point of contact for GoHealth Urgent Care patients through the digital live messaging platform
- Respond to inbound live chat and messaging inquiries professionally, empathetically, and efficiently
- Provide non-clinical information about services, insurance, self-pay options, imaging availability, clinic hours, locations, and visit preparation
- Accurately document interactions and outcomes within Salesforce
- Route clinical or emergent inquiries appropriately according to escalation and safety guidelines
- Use QGenda and Clockwise to manage scheduling, provider and X-ray availability, and workflow adherence
- Maintain knowledge of GoHealth locations, services, and operational updates
- Adhere to HIPAA, privacy, and compliance standards
- Foster collaboration, innovation, diversity and inclusion, courage and integrity, and accountability
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of experience in customer service, contact center, or digital messaging support
- Prior healthcare, urgent care, or non-clinical patient-facing support experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience using Salesforce preferred
- Familiarity with workforce management or scheduling tools such as QGenda or Clockwise preferred
- Excellent judgment and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work prolonged periods at a computer with extended screen usage
- Strong written communication and effective multitasking skills
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic healthcare setting
- Proficiency working across multiple systems and digital platforms simultaneously
- Ability to follow standardized workflows while exercising sound judgment and discretion
- Customer-focused problem-solving and issue-resolution skills
- Empathy-driven approach focused on patient advocacy
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity
