About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact for GoHealth Urgent Care patients through the digital live messaging platform
  • Respond to inbound live chat and messaging inquiries professionally, empathetically, and efficiently
  • Provide non-clinical information about services, insurance, self-pay options, imaging availability, clinic hours, locations, and visit preparation
  • Accurately document interactions and outcomes within Salesforce
  • Route clinical or emergent inquiries appropriately according to escalation and safety guidelines
  • Use QGenda and Clockwise to manage scheduling, provider and X-ray availability, and workflow adherence
  • Maintain knowledge of GoHealth locations, services, and operational updates
  • Adhere to HIPAA, privacy, and compliance standards
  • Foster collaboration, innovation, diversity and inclusion, courage and integrity, and accountability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, contact center, or digital messaging support
  • Prior healthcare, urgent care, or non-clinical patient-facing support experience
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce preferred
  • Familiarity with workforce management or scheduling tools such as QGenda or Clockwise preferred
  • Excellent judgment and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work prolonged periods at a computer with extended screen usage
  • Strong written communication and effective multitasking skills
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic healthcare setting
  • Proficiency working across multiple systems and digital platforms simultaneously
  • Ability to follow standardized workflows while exercising sound judgment and discretion
  • Customer-focused problem-solving and issue-resolution skills
  • Empathy-driven approach focused on patient advocacy
