About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform x-ray services for patients under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider
  • Apply x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment for patients from newborn to elderly
  • Position patients correctly and protect them during equipment use
  • Push patients in a wheelchair as needed
  • Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily equipment controls and calibration
  • Maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance
  • Submit repair tickets as needed
  • Provide administrative support for efficient center operation
  • Support Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, and patients with patient-care management, organization, and communication tasks
  • Complete activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma required
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Tech program required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required
  • Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Previous clinical experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service orientation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software preferred
