About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform x-ray services for patients under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider
- Apply x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment for patients from newborn to elderly
- Position patients correctly and protect them during equipment use
- Push patients in a wheelchair as needed
- Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily equipment controls and calibration
- Maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance
- Submit repair tickets as needed
- Provide administrative support for efficient center operation
- Support Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, and patients with patient-care management, organization, and communication tasks
- Complete activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Tech program required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required
- Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software preferred
