About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape the future of GoHealth’s technology infrastructure and technical solutions in alignment with strategic growth
- Define intake requirements and design and implement robust, scalable enterprise platforms, services, and solutions
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and requirements
- Evaluate current technology platforms and develop comprehensive technology architecture supporting organizational goals and scale
- Identify and prioritize technology platform changes, operational improvements, integrations, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives
- Define and drive enterprise architecture standards, best practices, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps
- Identify AI and machine-learning use cases and translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Document, monitor, measure, and assess the impact of architecture changes; develop KPIs and OKRs
- Design, model, test, secure, and implement enterprise systems and applications across the healthcare ecosystem
- Assess and select technologies, platforms, and frameworks for business, IT, security, analytics, engineering, support, clinical technology, and enterprise applications
- Develop resilient, extensible, elastic, scalable, and cost-effective design proposals with cross-functional teams
- Ensure technology solutions comply with healthcare regulations, applicable laws, and security requirements
- Partner with cybersecurity on threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response planning
- Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, organizational capabilities, and maturity metrics
- Recommend technologies that improve infrastructure, efficiency, performance, and capabilities
- Develop conceptual, detailed, and data-flow architectures, product roadmaps, and project solution architectures
- Challenge vendors to provide AI-based functionality aligned to GoHealth’s digital transformation
- Provide guidance and oversight for technology projects and lead a technology advisory committee
- Address technical challenges, business cases, prioritization, and deployment risks with project managers
- Align strategic priorities, resource allocation, transformation progress, project milestones, and architectural developments
- Build relationships with executives, department heads, external partners, and other stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, mentorship, skill development, and knowledge sharing
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment with accountability and continuous improvement
- Prepare for future people-leadership responsibilities, including onboarding, performance feedback, succession planning, and talent development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required; work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Required certifications: (ISC)² CISSP and ISSAP
- 7+ years of experience leading enterprise and solution architecture in complex, regulated environments; healthcare preferred
- 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical teams
- Experience architecting and integrating enterprise and clinical technology platforms at scale
- Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on enterprise technology initiatives
- Deep knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture in complex, regulated environments, including healthcare ecosystems
- Strong skill designing and integrating cloud platforms, enterprise systems, IAM/IGA, and large-scale integrations
- Ability to define and apply enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps
- Ability to partner with cybersecurity and compliance teams on secure, compliant, resilient solutions
- Working knowledge of AI-enabled and emerging technologies
- Ability to translate business and clinical requirements into scalable, reliable technical solutions
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior leaders and non-technical audiences
- Leadership, influence, coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance capabilities
- Ability to lead without authority in a matrixed environment
- Ability to lead through ambiguity, change, and transformation
- Excellent judgment and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel between company locations and out-of-town destinations as needed, up to 10%
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record verification where driving or travel is required
