About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Practice in a fast-paced, patient-centered urgent care setting
- Manage a wide variety of clinical presentations and levels of complexity
- Participate in shared decision-making and collaborative problem-solving
- Deliver high-quality urgent care services supported by advanced technology
- Work as a clinical leader within an interdisciplinary care team
- Collaborate with Medical Assistants and Radiologic Technologists
- Share knowledge, expertise, and mentorship with colleagues
- Support nearby locations as needed from a primary home center
- Perform weekend shifts and limited on-call responsibilities
- Treat patients of all ages in an acute care setting
- Perform minor procedures including suturing and casting/splinting
- Conduct preliminary EKG and X-ray interpretation
Requirements
What you’ll need- One (1) year of full-time experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine, or two (2) years of Family Medicine experience
- Experience treating patients of all ages in an acute care setting
- Comfortable performing minor procedures including suturing, casting, and splinting
- Comfortable with preliminary EKG interpretation
- Comfortable with preliminary X-ray interpretation
- Physician Assistants: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Physician Assistants: Current NCCPA certification
- Nurse Practitioners: Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Nurse Practitioners: Current ANCC or AANP certification
- Weekend shifts and limited on-call responsibilities required
