About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide urgent care services for adult and pediatric patients aged 6 months and older
- Treat patients in scheduled per diem shifts across Danbury, Fairfield, Brookfield, Stamford, and Norwalk centers
- Perform minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints
- Read EKGs and X-rays
- Work with Rad Techs, Medical Assistants, and Scribes who assist with vitals, medication reviews, point-of-care testing, and documentation
- Deliver quality, personal, and connected patient care using state-of-the-art technology, imaging, labs, and ECW EMR
Requirements
What you’ll need- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- 1–2 years of experience in an urgent care or emergency room setting
- Experience treating patients of all ages, from 6 months and older
- Comfortable with minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints
- Comfortable reading EKGs and X-rays
