About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients aged 6 months and older
- Treat patients in urgent care or emergency room settings
- Perform minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints
- Read EKGs and X-rays
- Float among the Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, and Fishkill centers for scheduled shifts
- Collaborate with on-site Radiologic Technologists, Medical Assistants, and Scribes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- 1–2 years of experience in an urgent care or emergency room setting
- Experience treating all ages, from 6 months and older
- Comfortable performing minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints
- Comfortable reading EKGs and X-rays
