About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
- Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups
- Perform and analyze patient x-rays and report results to Medical Providers.
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required at time of hire.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required at the time of hire (if applicable by state law).
