About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication
- Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups
- Responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
- Responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers
- Providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required at time of hire
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required at the time of hire (if applicable by state law)
