About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
- Perform and analyze patient x-rays and report results to Medical Providers
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of GoHealth Urgent Care Centers
- Collaborate with Medical Providers, Medical Assistants and patients
- Prepare patients for examination
- Conduct preliminary physical tests
- Maintain medical records and scanning charts to patient files
- Ensure correct patient positioning for optimal imaging results
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire (obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required
- Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required
