About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.
- Functioning in lieu of or alongside a physician, it is essential to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.
- Must be available to work 3 days in every 28 days including 1 weekend shift.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required for Physician Assistants
- Master’s Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
- One (1) year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or One (1) year of Urgent Care setting experience required.
- National Certification
- Active state medical licensure.
