About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.
  • Functioning in lieu of or alongside a physician, it is essential to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.
  • Must be available to work 3 days in every 28 days including 1 weekend shift.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree required for Physician Assistants
  • Master’s Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
  • One (1) year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or One (1) year of Urgent Care setting experience required.
  • National Certification
  • Active state medical licensure.
