About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for x-ray services as needed
- Under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider, perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly
- Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use
- Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed.
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our Centers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma (required)
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)
- Certifications (Required at Time of Hire): Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire (obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA))
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required
- Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
