Team Lead, Medical Assistant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support to the Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients
- Supervise and support team members and business operations
- Ensure day to day operations including cash deposits, ordering, inventory management are completed regularly
- Conduct monthly inventory and manage order approval
- Assist management in resolving patient concerns
- Drive KPIs and Strategic Initiatives
- Provide oversight of patient rushes and fill shifts as needed
- Conduct patient registration and verify insurance
- Prepare patients for examination and perform preliminary physical tests
- Stock supplies and maintain exam rooms and front desk
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program preferred
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Front Desk experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire
- Certification (CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA) at the time of hire or one of the following: 1+ years of experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
- Must obtain a Medical Assistant certification within 15 months of hire if not already held
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or LPN or RN or EMT or CNA or Radiologic Technology graduate
