About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support to Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients
- Perform limited capacity x-rays for patients and report results to Medical Providers
- Conduct patient registration and verify insurance and patient eligibility
- Prepare patients for examination and conduct preliminary physical tests
- Ensure patients are positioned correctly during x-rays
- Maintain stocking and supply inventory at the center
- Maintain medical records and perform administrative duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Experience performing x-rays preferred
- Limited X-Ray Certification (LLRT or LMRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire
- CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA certification or equivalent certifications to be obtained within fifteen (15) months of hire date
