About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support to Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients
- Perform limited capacity x-rays for patients and report results
- Conduct patient registration and verify insurance
- Prepare patients for examination and perform preliminary physical tests
- Maintain supply inventory and stock exam rooms
- Conduct patient follow-ups and maintain medical records
- Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Experience performing x-rays preferred
- Limited X-Ray Certification (LLRT or LMRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire
- CCMA or CMA certification or equivalent required within 15 months of hire
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
