About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide support to Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients
Perform limited capacity x-rays for patients and report results
Conduct patient registration and verify insurance
Prepare patients for examination and perform preliminary physical tests
Maintain supply inventory and stock exam rooms
Conduct patient follow-ups and maintain medical records
Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant experience preferred
Experience performing x-rays preferred
Limited X-Ray Certification (LLRT or LMRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire
CCMA or CMA certification or equivalent required within 15 months of hire
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
