About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support to Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients
  • Perform limited capacity x-rays for patients and report results
  • Conduct patient registration and verify insurance
  • Prepare patients for examination and perform preliminary physical tests
  • Maintain supply inventory and stock exam rooms
  • Conduct patient follow-ups and maintain medical records
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant experience preferred
  • Experience performing x-rays preferred
  • Limited X-Ray Certification (LLRT or LMRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire
  • CCMA or CMA certification or equivalent required within 15 months of hire
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
