About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
  • Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups
  • Responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for patients
  • Perform and analyze patient x-rays and report results to Medical Providers
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma required
  • ARRT certification required
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required at time of hire
