About the role
- Establishing and maintaining workflow quality in assigned market centers
- Work 32 hours clinical shifts and 8 hours administrative time weekly to document assessments and develop team members
- Work with clinical and operations teams, departments, and vendors on projects and administrative duties
- Perform a variety of technical procedures and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
- Perform and analyze patient x-rays and report results to Medical Providers
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of centers
- Support Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, and patients in patient care management, organization and communication
- Conduct operational and workflow reviews and complete site assessments to improve efficiency and staff development
- Ensure staff training and adherence to quality control processes for clinical equipment and patient logs
- Reconcile ordered labs and results within clinical systems for all clinics
- Follow standards, procedures and legal regulations to maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment
- Conduct patient registration, verify insurance and eligibility, process co-pays and schedule appointments
- Coordinate provider referrals and answer patient questions regarding care
- Under direction of clinical provider, position and protect patients during x-ray services across all age groups
- Patient preparation and rooming and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- 2+ years’ experience as a Radiology Technologist or other x-ray experience
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist licensure
- Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required or must be obtained (deadline rules based on hire date)
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Must pass MVR background check
- Must hold state licensure in state of practice at time of hire (NY, OR, WA, CT, CA, DE, MD, TX, VA, AR)
- Knowledge of laboratory and Radiology QA QC procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skill
- Preferred: Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred
