About the role
- Lead and inspire a high-performing clinical team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
- Deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring an outstanding customer experience
- Direct and identify best practice standards, establishing clinical policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and methods of operation
- Establish quality metrics and initiate process improvement programs
- Support the network’s strategy to increase exposure and enhance its image among healthcare providers and the community
- Participate in the development of patient education materials and seminars
- Collaborate with the Market President and operational team
- Ensure quality of care and address all clinical caregiver issues
- Share resources and implement improvement initiatives across regions
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Med-Peds
- Current state medical license
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical leadership/administrative experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or related field
- Successful track record building, developing, and leading high-performing medical teams
- Strong analytical, management, delegation, organizational, and administrative skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and act as both coach and manager
- Experience with current clinical methods and techniques
