About the role

  • Lead the development and delivery of data products that support business strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision and manage the product backlog
  • Ensure execution of data initiatives aligned with organizational goals and user needs
  • Prioritize and manage the data product backlog in alignment with organizational goals
  • Translate approved business requirements into clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Data Governance teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a data-driven environment
  • Strong background in data engineering, data analytics, or data science
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake) and data tools (e.g., SQL, ETL, BI tools)
  • Experience in data modeling, API management, and machine learning would be advantageous
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile Product Owner certification
  • Certified Product Manager (CPM) or Pragmatic Institute Certification
  • DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent data governance/data management certification
  • Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Data Analyst
  • Experience with data products or platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Azure Data Lake.
