Events

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of an urgent care provider
• Manage the check-in and registration process
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts
• May be required to draw and collect blood samples
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients
• Conduct patient registration and verification of insurance
• Process co-pays and schedule patient appointments
• Coordinate provider referrals to assigned Specialist
• Answer patient questions regarding their care
• Prepare patients for examination and conduct preliminary physical tests
• Conduct point of care testing as needed
• Responsible for stocking supplies and maintenance of exam rooms
• Maintain medical records and answer phone calls
• Conduct courtesy call-backs for patient follow-up
