About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as GoGlobal’s local representative in India
- Meet and greet local employees and oversee the onboarding process
- Serve as the main point of contact for India clients
- Handle HR operations including onboarding, probation management, Time and Attendance management, contract renewals, resignations and terminations
- Maintain HR data, documents, agreements and employment contracts
- Serve as an escalation point for clients and employees and resolve issues promptly
- Monitor HR trends, labor regulations and statutory changes in India and communicate updates to relevant teams
- Collaborate with the payroll team
- Create HR letters, including employment agreement addenda
- Track employment contracts and assist with expense receipt verification
- Provide administrative support for office-space sourcing, office management, medical insurance applications, bank-account opening and office-equipment sourcing and purchasing
- Provide visa services promptly
- Complete other ad hoc projects as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of HR experience
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory requirements
- ESOP experience
- Background in EOR, HR consulting or multinational companies is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to perform other ad hoc tasks as directed by management
