About the role
- Sourcing the most compelling stories on the platform to pitch to local, regional and national media outlets
- Staying abreast of the news happening in designated regions
- Responding to reporter inquiries
- Supporting the team during every day and in crisis moments
- Building connections with media and other key internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Impeccable writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of the media landscape
- Basic writing and communication skills
- Strong desire to help our fundraiser organizers and nonprofits achieve success
