Establish the vision, formulate the strategy, and take ownership of planning and successful implementation of your data tribe
Define the strategic vision and the long-term roadmap, working backwards from customers and utilizing data analysis to guide decisions
Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap outlining key milestones, features, and release plans; prioritize based on customer value and business impact
Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business leaders to translate technical capabilities into user-centric features and experiences
Advocate for customers (internal and external) and understand community needs to build delightful experiences
Articulate problems, write crisp and clear requirements, and communicate challenges and constraints to senior management and stakeholders; create required artifacts and documentation
Use A/B testing, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive data-informed product decisions
Requirements
7+ years of experience in product management with a focus on data
Proficiency in understanding and working with data, including familiarity with data analytics, data pipelines and a basic understanding of machine learning concepts
Experience with conceptualizing complex interrelated applications and system platforms, and ability to communicate those systems to non-technical team members and business partners
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, understand technical constraints and opportunities, and translate them into product features
Proven track record for building, launching and scaling successful products; can take an idea/opportunity from a problem statement to a final product
Demonstrated ability to partner with designers, engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders
Strong communicator with the ability to bring people together to define a common vision and plan for action
Humility and willingness to dissect decisions and iterate
Ability to work on multiple projects under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
BA/BS degree or equivalent; MBA in a quantitative field or technical degree a plus
Candidates considered for this role will be located in the San Francisco, Bay Area and must be in-office 3x a week
