About the role

  • Be a core part of a triad leadership team with Product and Engineering to shape vision, strategy, and execution
  • Help define the experience strategy for the product and drive consensus across teams
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive design decisions that create user value and business impact
  • Facilitate design workshops with cross-functional team members to ideate and establish conceptual direction
  • Create and deliver high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and specifications
  • Contribute to and help evolve the Heart design system
  • Collaborate with product teams to turn conceptual ideas into usable, delightful, and valuable product features
  • Actively participate in group design critiques to solicit and provide feedback

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience as a Product Designer working in-house or at an agency
  • Experience designing for CRMs and SAAS products
  • Expert understanding of the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, and proportion
  • Great aesthetic judgment and attention to detail
  • Skilled at articulating design decisions
  • End-to-end experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and native apps
  • Problem solver who requires very little guidance and thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize, manage workloads, and meet project deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions, ideas, and vision
  • Empathetic, user-centered approach to design
  • Experience working with Engineers, Product Managers, and User Researchers on lean teams
  • Located in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work in-office 3x a week
