About the role
- Be a core part of a triad leadership team with Product and Engineering to shape vision, strategy, and execution
- Help define the experience strategy for the product and drive consensus across teams
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive design decisions that create user value and business impact
- Facilitate design workshops with cross-functional team members to ideate and establish conceptual direction
- Create and deliver high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and specifications
- Contribute to and help evolve the Heart design system
- Collaborate with product teams to turn conceptual ideas into usable, delightful, and valuable product features
- Actively participate in group design critiques to solicit and provide feedback
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience as a Product Designer working in-house or at an agency
- Experience designing for CRMs and SAAS products
- Expert understanding of the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, and proportion
- Great aesthetic judgment and attention to detail
- Skilled at articulating design decisions
- End-to-end experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and native apps
- Problem solver who requires very little guidance and thrives in fast-paced environments
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize, manage workloads, and meet project deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions, ideas, and vision
- Empathetic, user-centered approach to design
- Experience working with Engineers, Product Managers, and User Researchers on lean teams
- Located in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work in-office 3x a week
