About the role
- Deliver GoFundMe’s global paid media strategy, overseeing planning, execution, and optimization across SEM, paid social, display, video, and programmatic.
- Drive measurable business outcomes - growing new fundraiser starts, donors, and repeat engagement while maintaining strong ROI and efficiency targets and working closely with the organic teams.
- Lead cross-market campaigns, balancing global consistency with local relevance across North America, Europe, and emerging international markets.
- Champion experimentation and growth science, using A/B testing, geo-lift, and incrementality frameworks to uncover new opportunities and reduce reliance on last-click metrics.
- Collaborate with Product and CRM to create seamless user journeys that bridge acquisition, activation, and re-engagement.
- Partner with Data Science and Finance on forecasting, attribution modeling, and media mix optimization; translate insights into clear business recommendations.
- Build and manage relationships with media agencies and platform partners, ensuring operational excellence, innovation, and cost efficiency.
- Develop creative testing frameworks with Brand and Creative teams to identify high-performing messages and formats that drive emotional and behavioral response.
- Monitor, report, and communicate performance regularly to senior leadership — connecting campaign results to overall business impact.
- Ensure all campaigns meet privacy and compliance standards, including GDPR, CCPA, and internal governance policies.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns in a fast-paced, high-growth B2C or mission-driven environment.
- Proven success leading multi-channel media portfolios across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and programmatic platforms.
- Strong analytical and strategic skills - able to connect channel performance to business outcomes and tell the story behind the numbers.
- Experience running campaigns across multiple markets with cultural and regulatory nuance.
- Deep understanding of creative testing, audience segmentation, and attribution.
- Flexible and resourceful - thrives in ambiguity, comfortable moving between strategic planning and in-platform optimization.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; strong ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
