  • Secure, prep, and staff high-impact interviews, speaking engagements, and social media amplification for C-suite leaders.
  • Identify and drive media opportunities that highlight GoFundMe’s innovation, leadership, and mission-driven impact; build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors.
  • Drive the strategy for tech and business award submissions.
  • Lead comms planning for product launches, corporate announcements, executive hires, and other high-visibility moments.
  • Act as a key steward of GoFundMe’s corporate reputation, driving rapid response messaging in high-stakes or time-sensitive situations.
  • Partner closely with teams across Global Go To Market, Product, Legal, Trust & Safety, Policy, and GoFundMe.org to ensure message consistency and alignment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate comms, public relations, executive visibility, or reputation management—ideally at a high-growth tech company, agency, or mission-driven brand.
  • Trusted advisor to executives, with experience shaping and executing a successful corporate communications strategy for CEOs and leadership teams.
  • Deep understanding of the evolving media landscape with strong relationships across national outlets and key industry events. Existing relationships with tech and business media strongly preferred.

  • Highly skilled in crisis communications and issues management, with a calm, strategic approach to navigating reputational risks.
  • Experienced in investor relations and financial storytelling in high-growth, late-stage private companies.
