About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create 2D detail drawings, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics;
Monitor assembly and testing and update documentation to reflect component changes;
Contribute to the assembly and testing of Balko sensors;
Help implement improved organizational practices through deep knowledge of electrical design;
Write technical documentation;
Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization and propose solutions to ensure compliance;
Support the team with technical assistance for any electronics issues related to delivered sensors;
Participate in all discussions related to product optimization;
Place orders and follow up with suppliers;
Update inventory and BOMs and maintain them in our ERP software (Odoo);

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a systems technologist or in electronics;
College diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline;
Good command of English is required for document writing;
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to manage priorities;
Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills;
Strong ability to work in a team and collaborate with external firms;
Ability to use and, when necessary, adapt ERP system procedures (Odoo or other);
Initiative and ability to make decisions quickly;
Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and management practices is an asset;
