About the role

  • In collaboration with the Regional Director, analyze market potential (crop types, customer segments, competitors) to define the territory's commercial strategy and identify development opportunities
  • Lead and coordinate sales campaigns with the region's representatives to achieve established targets
  • Monitor customer retention metrics, analyze results, and implement concrete actions to retain customers and strengthen business relationships
  • Promote agronomic best practices and raise the team's awareness of field realities to ensure a consistent and relevant approach with producers
  • Train and support field representatives in both commercial and technical aspects
  • Act as a point of contact for product-related complaints, follow up with representatives, and communicate with suppliers when required
  • Actively collaborate with the marketing committee by sharing field observations.

Requirements

  • Hold a university degree in agronomy or a college diploma in an agricultural field
  • 5 to 7 years' experience in sales with significant experience in agronomy
  • Hold a valid driver's license and be available to travel frequently within the assigned territory
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good knowledge of the agricultural sector
