About the role
- The Campus Events Coordinator serves the mission of GO Church by helping plan and execute excellent, life-giving campus events.
- This role partners closely with the Gatherings Director to bring vision to life through detailed event planning, creative collaboration, and strong onsite leadership.
- Serve as the on-site event manager during conferences and large events- helping lead teams, delegate roles, and ensure smooth execution from setup to teardown.
- Act as the main point person for all campus event logistics, ensuring alignment between the Campus Pastor, Gatherings Director, and campus departments.
- Build and lead the FC Events Team- recruiting, training, and empowering volunteers to serve with excellence and joy.
- Oversee the ordering and preparation of centerpieces, food, décor, and other event materials in collaboration with the Gatherings Director.
Requirements
- A growing relationship with Jesus and alignment with the mission and values of GO Church.
- Proven ability to organize, multitask, and lead teams effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and proactive communication.
- Comfortable leading volunteers and managing multiple moving parts under pressure.
- Creative eye for event atmosphere, décor, and guest experience.
- Experience in Events & Logistics.
- Highly Organized and comfortable leading staff & teams.
- Experience with vendors & caterers.
