About the role
- Lead and implement sourcing strategies for Plastics commodity
- Function as the key commercial interface between product development teams and suppliers
- Conduct mechanic should-cost reviews and drive actions to reduce total product costs
- Develop a total cost and capacity-optimized inbound supply chain
- Perform risk mitigation and contingency planning
- Work with international teams across Denmark, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the US
Requirements
- 5-10 years in procurement, with a strong background in mechanics sourcing
- Commercial degree or degree in mechanical engineering
- Strong negotiation skills
- Project management expertise
- Excellent communication abilities
- Must be able to speak and write English effortlessly
- Flexibility to travel 20-30 days a year to collaborate with colleagues and suppliers globally
