About the role
- Develop, plan, manage and implement activities to achieve the Regional Business Plan related to the Public Sector
- Identify and drive strategic market opportunities and grow Jabra GN’s indirect government business
- Use a sales solution process to identify customer needs and create sales opportunities
- Develop account plans with sales management, channel sales teams and partners
- Follow up on leads; qualify and pursue new Public Sector sales opportunities
- Establish and manage reseller partnerships to drive incremental revenue
- Support marketing promotions and trade shows to develop new opportunities
- Utilize CRM and other tools to provide accurate customer activities, forecast and sales opportunities
- Represent Jabra at industry events and trade shows
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to exceed revenue and financial metrics
- Monitor and utilize data from Zyme, CRM and other resources to optimize sales opportunities
- Maintain account records and inform management of issues and trends that affect business outcomes
Requirements
- Experience selling to Public Sector accounts
- Good working knowledge of various government contracting vehicles
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in an outside sales position, selling through indirect channels, to State and Local government accounts, with proven Sales Excellence in solution selling
- Contact Center and/or Unified Communications sales experience with End User Customers within the territory preferred
- Proficiency with CRM software, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Entrepreneurial, placing primary focus on the departmental goals and objectives
- Energetic self-starter with the ability to translate business strategies into actions in order to achieve results
