About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform venipuncture and microcollection with precision and compassion.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality specimen collection, processing, and distribution.
  • Accurately enter and maintain patient and specimen data in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
  • Perform Point-of-Care (POC) testing in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Serve as a Senior Phlebotomist when needed, providing guidance and support to peers.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician by NHA – National Healthcareer Association (required).
  • At least one year of hospital – based phlebotomy experience (preferred).
