About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide safe, professional, and compassionate patient care during non-emergency medical transport.
- Transport patients to and from healthcare facilities, treatment centers, and other designated locations.
- Monitor patient well-being and deliver care within EMT scope of practice and established medical protocols.
- Maintain ambulances, vehicles, and medical equipment in a constant state of readiness.
- Accurately document patient care and transport information.
- Deliver outstanding service and foster positive relationships with patients, families, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Georgia EMT-Basic certification required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification required.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record in accordance with organizational standards.
- Strong communication, customer service, and patient care skills.
- Commitment to safety, professionalism, and teamwork.
