About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Business Application projects primarily Workday and related applications.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for Workday implementations, optimizations, and upgrades.
Drive and lead solution development from conception through deployment for all business applications.
Manage changes and releases to Workday systems and processes, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
Manage third party vendor managed solutions like PureOHS, Vizzia RTLS, Docusign, Smartsheet and other business applications.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to elicit requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on project goals.
Leads and oversees the development and documentation of comprehensive business cases to assess the costs, benefits, ROI, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of highly unique or complex solution proposals.
Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and escalating issues as needed.
Utilize Agile methodologies and Scrum practices to facilitate project delivery, including leading ceremonies and coaching teams.
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and budget status.
Ensure the quality of project deliverables through testing, validation, and adherence to established standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields
7 years of Project management and vendor product management experience in a healthcare environment
Strong analytical skills.
Strong bias for action with a demonstrated track record of owning and delivering solutions successfully across cross functional domains.
Broad exposure to multiple products related to healthcare like incident management, nursing systems, tracking systems, Document management, Time management etc.
Experience in management or technology consulting across the full strategy-to-implementation project lifecycle.
Proven experience in project management, preferably Workday and Vendor managed solutions.
Strong understanding of Workday platform, including HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Finance and Supply Chain.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, vendor and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Jira, Smartsheet).
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience with change management and user training.
Relevant Certifications such as PMP are a plus.
