About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, marketing, legal, cybersecurity, data governance and privacy teams to implement privacy best practices in projects and decisions, and ensure solutions include necessary privacy components.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on privacy engineering and communicate privacy solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop privacy controls and features, including policies and standard, as required by privacy laws and regulations.
- Manage multiple privacy projects simultaneously with urgency.
- Conduct operational deep dives on privacy-related processes and systems autonomously and engineer scalable solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-4 years handling a combination of privacy and technology matters (e.g., privacy engineering, marketing ad tech compliance) required.
- High School Diploma.
- Associate Degree.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Familiarity with global privacy laws and regulations (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, Law 25, LGPD, GDPR, GLBA)
- A strong technical background is needed.
- Experience with OneTrust, Informatica, or BigID a plus.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- CIPP/US, CIPM, or CIPT privacy certification preferred.
