About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops internal capabilities for commercial lending to automotive dealerships
- Manages all aspects of commercial credit underwriting for floorplan, term loans, construction loans, and real estate loans
- Develops and implements strategy for field sales support and serves as a point of contact for new credit requests
- Develops commercial lending system strategies and manages implementation
- Provides leadership, coaching, guidance and training for credit analyst development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven track record in commercial lending with emphasis in automotive commercial financing
- Extensive knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and credit underwriting
- Knowledge and understanding of automotive dealership operations
- Thorough computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Microsoft Access knowledge preferred
- Detailed oriented and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Team player with strong leadership and motivational skills
- Strong customer services skills
- Excellent analytical and project management skills are required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation, interpersonal, and persuasive skills
- Ability to interface with all levels of management
- High energy and fast paced office subject to stressful conditions.
- Some travel will be necessary.
- Work schedule will include some nights, weekends, or holidays
- Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
- Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
- Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
- Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection
