About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develops internal capabilities for commercial lending to automotive dealerships
Manages all aspects of commercial credit underwriting for floorplan, term loans, construction loans, and real estate loans
Develops and implements strategy for field sales support and serves as a point of contact for new credit requests
Develops commercial lending system strategies and manages implementation
Provides leadership, coaching, guidance and training for credit analyst development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven track record in commercial lending with emphasis in automotive commercial financing
Extensive knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and credit underwriting
Knowledge and understanding of automotive dealership operations
Thorough computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Microsoft Access knowledge preferred
Detailed oriented and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
Team player with strong leadership and motivational skills
Strong customer services skills
Excellent analytical and project management skills are required
Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation, interpersonal, and persuasive skills
Ability to interface with all levels of management
High energy and fast paced office subject to stressful conditions.
Some travel will be necessary.
Work schedule will include some nights, weekends, or holidays
Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection
