About the role
- Provides multi-channel claims service by virtually adjusting low to moderately complex auto damage claims
- Creating and reviewing estimates and documentation
- Clearly documenting decisions
- Partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant, timely claim resolution
- Supporting business goals and surge demands
- Investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and adjusting vehicle damages
- Managing, coordinating, and making critical decisions regarding the repair process for customers
- Working closely with auto body shops and other stakeholders to negotiate repair pricing
- Conducting damage verification to determine what damage is related to specific loss as well as evaluating and settling total loss claims
Requirements
- Moderate knowledge of automobile parts, terminology, repair techniques, and vehicle construction
- Experience handling Property and Casualty claims is preferred
- Proficient with CCC estimating system
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Computer literacy in a Windows operation environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to implement and adapt to rapid change
- Creative, innovative and forward-thinking mindset
- Ability to navigate and work in multiple systems simultaneously
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- 0-2 years of auto claims experience writing estimates and total loss evaluations required
- 0-2 years of experience using CCC Portal/estimating software required
- 3+ years of customer service experience preferred
- Insurance Adjuster License preferred
- I-Car ProLevel 1 Designation preferred
