About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As Operations Finance Manager (all genders), you will build a modern controlling function for our supply chain and act as a business partner to the Operations Management team.
- You take responsibility for inventory valuation and continuously develop inventory controlling.
- You create transparency around stock levels, goods movements and their financial impact.
- You analyze key supply chain and operations KPIs such as inventory, COGS, logistics costs and forecast accuracy.
- You act as a business partner for Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement, bringing financial perspective to operational decisions.
- You support budgeting, forecasts and operational financial planning.
- You build dashboards, reporting structures and KPIs and continuously improve them.
- You prepare business cases for operational decisions, for example regarding suppliers, logistics setups or inventory strategies.
- You identify cost and working capital optimization opportunities across the entire value chain.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a related field.
- You have experience in controlling, operations finance, supply chain analytics or consulting.
- You have initial exposure to inventory, cost structures or operational KPIs — this is a strong plus.
- You think analytically, work data-driven and can present complex relationships clearly and understandably.
- You work in a structured and independent way and maintain an overview even in a dynamic environment.
- You have excellent skills in Excel or Google Sheets and are comfortable working with numbers.
- You have experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, or are motivated to learn them quickly.
- Ideally, you have experience working with ERP or financial systems.
- You are interested in data analysis, reporting and developing meaningful KPIs.
- You are analytically strong and enjoy diving into complex relationships.
