Collaborate closely with UX Research, Content Design, Data, Product, and Engineering teams to drive cohesive, user-centered solutions.
Guide and support a small team of Product Designers; work alongside the UX Director to shape and elevate strategy for the Customer App.
Connect insights across projects to ensure design excellence and cohesion; proactively tackle challenges and lead impactful design initiatives.
Act as a hands-on leader participating in project execution, leading strategic projects end-to-end and providing mentorship to reports for performance and career advancement.
Manage stakeholders, business priorities, projects, and help reports prioritize work; identify capacity gaps and raise headcount needs.
Foster cross-discipline collaboration and advocate for end users in product discussions, reviews, and critiques.
Encourage an ego-free collaborative environment and ensure adoption of the Design System.
Requirements
At least 5+ years of experience with end-to-end product design.
Practical experience managing and mentoring other designers.
Ability to help designers navigate ambiguity.
Understanding of business goals and product metrics.
Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Critical thinking and hands-on design skills across stages of the design process.
Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and learning.
Experience building and scaling hybrid component libraries (Design Systems).
