About the role
- Lead and own design in Core product area focused on empowering beauty and wellness businesses to operate and grow
- Own the strategy and execution of key product experiences across scheduling, client and team management, and payment processing
- Own the entire design process from strategy to execution for the product area
- Construct user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts
- Lead user interviews to better understand customer needs and inform product design strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, software and QA engineers, customer success managers, and marketers
- Deliver products recognized as best in the industry by understanding GlossGenius’s strategic and competitive position
- Take initiative to conceive new ways users can interact with GlossGenius
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a Product Design/UX/UI or related role
- Prior experience designing booking platforms, scheduling tools, team management, or financial/payment products is a strong plus
- Demonstrated experience with sketching, wireframes, visual design, and prototyping for product experiences
- Experience with advanced prototyping tools (e.g. Principle, Framer, Sketch, Figma, InVision)
- Proven experience leveraging AI tools to shape design strategy and deliver impactful AI-driven experiences
- Passion for empowering small business owners and high level of empathy for customers
- Experience navigating ambiguous high-growth, fast-paced product-driven environments
- Must be commutable to GlossGenius NYC headquarters and operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
