About the role
- Directly manage all aspects of customer service and care with clients
- Independently troubleshoot and repair a variety of high-speed cash-handling equipment (coin sorters, teller cash dispensers, currency counters/wrappers, POS equipment)
- Track and manage parts and tools
- Stay abreast of changes in technical and functional elements of GLORY equipment
- Diagnose system problems and make repairs
- Keep customer apprised of progress during maintenance or a down system situation
- Complete machine installations, Engineering Change Notices affecting system upgrades, and hardware/software upgrades requiring technical assistance
- Adhere to safety guidelines and policies, complete required Environmental Health & Safety training, and timely reporting of job site accidents
- Provide on-call support and participate in rotational on-call schedule when required
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Certificates in related fields (mechanics, electronics, automation, data processing) preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Working knowledge of personal computers, especially Microsoft Office
- Logical troubleshooting skills and capability to isolate problems at PCB or component level
- Ability to effectively work with electric schematics, logic diagrams, mechanical drawings
- AC/DC power distribution knowledge
- Digital and analog circuitry knowledge
- Experience repairing high-speed paper handling machines (check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters); ATM or copier experience preferred
- 3-5 years of technical field service repair experience preferred
- Hold a Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods; frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit and twist
- Ability to work at customer sites including financial institutions, casinos (gaming licensing may be required), truck stops, parks, retail stores
- Ability to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotational basis
- Must be available for an on-call rotation (typically once every 3 to 5 weeks, including evenings and weekends)
- Must be able to drive to customer sites during working hours
- Occasional air and overnight travel outside assigned territory may be necessary
- Ability to accommodate limited accessibility at a job site
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- PAY RANGE: $20 - $30 an hour
