About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinates communication with clients and interpreters
- Provides first-level issue resolution
- Acts as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors under general supervision
- Answers phone calls and triages needs of callers
- Handles the scheduling of routine and non-complex interpreting jobs
- Maintains the scheduling email box and responds to requests in a timely manner
- Conducts intake of requests for interpretation services
- Works closely within the scheduling system
- Complies with the scheduling process
- Escalates issues appropriately
- Covers for other scheduling coordinators during breaks and vacations
- Attends training activities and meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of experience in scheduling
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a ‘service-first’ mindset
- Background in customer-facing roles with a demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Experience in the healthcare of language services industry preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Word
- Experience with Google Docs and Apple/Mac Operating System preferred
- Ability to work independently in a decentralized environment
- Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics
- Proven ability to interpret strategic and operational business requirements
- Value strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects and prioritize needs
- Strong sense of service and passion for the company and business
- Authorized to legally work for any employer in the United States
- Willingness to submit to any requested background checks
- Fluent in English
