About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

**How your day-to-day will be:**
Build and operate Media Mix Models (MMM);
Design incremental and quasi-experiments to measure causal effects of different media types;
Collaborate with multidisciplinary advertising teams to deliver business-relevant outputs for Globo advertisers;
Act consultatively with senior stakeholders, translating complex statistical concepts into actionable business strategies;
Influence Globo's medium- and long-term strategy for advertising measurement products;
Perform exploratory data analyses and create statistical visualizations to support business decisions;
Contribute to building infrastructure to scale measurement solutions;
Continuously evolve solutions in production.

What you’ll need

**What you need:**
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science), or Bachelor's plus a Lato Sensu postgraduate degree in a quantitative area;
Professional experience: 2+ years in the market, which may be reduced for candidates with advanced postgraduate degrees (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field;
Proficiency in Python and SQL;
Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
Knowledge of Causal Inference;
Knowledge of Statistical Inference: point estimation and hypothesis testing;
Strong foundations in the mathematical underpinnings of statistical modeling and Machine Learning;
Ability to communicate insights, analyses, and complex concepts to diverse audiences.
**Knowledge that makes you stand out:**
Previous experience in the advertising industry;
Advanced postgraduate degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field;
Knowledge of time series models;
Knowledge of Neural Networks / Deep Learning;
Knowledge of Bayesian Inference methods;
Experience with LLMs;
Multidisciplinary background.
