About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate, structure, and develop business opportunities in the sports segment, building strategic theses, identifying synergies, and modeling financial and long-term impacts for Globo;
  • Lead cross-functional business development initiatives, coordinating internal teams and consolidating contributions, counterparty commitments, and directions required to enable projects;
  • Represent Globo in strategic discussions and negotiations with market stakeholders, supporting recommendations and positions with data, analysis, and a long-term perspective;
  • Design and lead strategic initiatives involving multiple sports products and platforms, ensuring alignment between audience objectives, distribution, monetization, and brand positioning;
  • Monitor sports industry trends, competitor moves, and changes in consumer behavior, converting market insights into business opportunities and portfolio recommendations;
  • Support senior leadership and executive forums in decision-making by providing analyses, scenarios, and strategic recommendations on structuring initiatives for the sports business.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields;
  • Relevant experience in strategy, business development, corporate planning, investments, M&A, strategic consulting, or similar areas;
  • Experience leading complex negotiations and developing commercial models;
  • Experience in financial modeling and economic feasibility analysis;
  • Ability to prepare executive-level presentations and recommendations for senior leadership;
  • Advanced or fluent English for interaction with international counterparts and review of commercial documents;
  • Prior experience in the sports, media, entertainment, or streaming markets;
  • Background in top-tier strategy consultancies, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development;
  • Experience with licensing processes, joint ventures, or structuring new business models;
  • International experience or involvement in global negotiations;
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Strategy, Finance, or Business Management;
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis tools.
