Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field;
  • Solid track record in backend application development;
  • Experience with the Go (Golang) language;
  • Experience designing and architecting distributed, scalable systems;
  • Strong software engineering background (SOLID principles, design patterns, etc.);
  • Knowledge of container virtualization solutions (Docker);
  • Knowledge of container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes);
  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, ELK, New Relic, Datadog, etc.);
  • Experience documenting technical decisions;
  • Experience writing unit, functional, and integration tests;
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL);
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
  • Additional qualifications that stand out:
  • Postgraduate degree or Master's degree;
  • Experience with web servers / reverse proxy systems (Nginx or Apache);
  • Knowledge of Lua;
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform);
  • Knowledge of Unix and operating systems in general (terminal, network stack, etc.);
  • Experience mentoring and developing technical people.
