About the role
- Produce and edit a steady flow of short-form video content (UGC style, vertical format for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.), maintaining a consistent publishing rhythm.
- Collaborate directly with the founder and marketing team to ideate, shoot, and edit creative video assets showcasing the product and brand.
- Create both self-recorded content and edit content provided by others, ensuring alignment with brand voice and visual identity.
- Experiment with new formats, hooks, and trends to maximize engagement and relevance.
- Use the company’s AI-powered video ads platform, providing feedback and insights to help shape product development.
- Stay updated on social media and content creation trends, ensuring creative output aligns with best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a video content creator, editor, or social media creative (preferably for US startups or brands)
- Strong portfolio showcasing UGC-style short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
- Proven ability to consistently deliver engaging, high-quality videos on tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar.
- Openness to leveraging AI tools in video creation.
- Hands-on creative mindset with experience in both shooting and editing.
- Strong understanding of storytelling for digital platforms and ability to adapt content to different formats.
- Based in Latin America, with the ability to work aligned to US time zones.
