About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze international agricultural commodity markets, with a primary focus on sugar, cocoa and coffee
Identify economic trends and provide actionable insights to inform internal commodity strategies
Serve as a subject matter expert by developing analyses and innovative frameworks to evaluate global trade and market dynamics
Monitor price movements, value chain developments and sector-specific trends
Contribute to the development of business cases and the identification of opportunities in purchasing strategies
Prepare presentations and reports summarizing global trade data and the current commodity market situation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in business, science or a related field (or equivalent education)
Relevant work experience in the agricultural, retail or FMCG sectors
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Willingness and motivation to learn about internal commodity trading processes
Business-fluent English skills are essential
Analytical, solution-oriented mindset
Reliable, structured and able to work independently
