About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze international agricultural commodity markets, with a primary focus on sugar, cocoa and coffee
- Identify economic trends and provide actionable insights to inform internal commodity strategies
- Serve as a subject matter expert by developing analyses and innovative frameworks to evaluate global trade and market dynamics
- Monitor price movements, value chain developments and sector-specific trends
- Contribute to the development of business cases and the identification of opportunities in purchasing strategies
- Prepare presentations and reports summarizing global trade data and the current commodity market situation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in business, science or a related field (or equivalent education)
- Relevant work experience in the agricultural, retail or FMCG sectors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Willingness and motivation to learn about internal commodity trading processes
- Business-fluent English skills are essential
- Analytical, solution-oriented mindset
- Reliable, structured and able to work independently
